Spring 2011. The 47-year-old gay bachelor Willem-Anton Hoogveld leads a quiet and comfortable life as a fraudulent asset manager. However, a message on his employer’s intranet brings back memories of a deeply trapped youth trauma to Hoogveld. This makes Hoogveld completely emotionally unbalanced. He decides to take drastic steps to definitively settle the past: a decision with fatal consequences. A meeting in the autumn of 2014 will eventually complete the circle with the past. But before the curtain finally falls, Hoogveld makes one more unpleasant discovery…
